The situation in the Tavria direction for the day

The enemy does not stop trying to surround Avdiivka, actively using aviation there. From the south of Avdiyivka, the enemy tried to throw mechanized columns forward, but suffered significant losses there, - said Oleksandr Shtupun, the spokesman of the Defense Forces of the Tavriysk direction. Our soldiers are firmly holding the defense, the offensive actions of the enemy were unsuccessful in the districts of Stepovoy, Avdiyivka, Tonenkoy, and Severnoy. There, our soldiers repelled 15 attacks.

The enemy also does not reduce activity in the Mariinsky direction. 20 attacks by invaders were repulsed near Maryinka and Novmykhailivka.

On the Shakhtarsky and Zaporizhzhya directions, all attempts of the enemy to advance in the areas of Vodyanyi, Novoukrainka, Staromayorsky, and Verbovoi were repulsed.

At the same time, the Defense Forces continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction. "We will report any positive news separately," noted the spokesman of the Defense Forces of the Tavria direction.

Over the past day, the total losses of the enemy are 460 people. 49 units of military equipment were destroyed, most of them were equipment that the enemy threw from the south of Avdiivka. These are 13 tanks, 9 armored combat vehicles, 10 artillery systems, 1 anti-aircraft vehicle, namely the Tor air defense system, 9 UAVs, 6 vehicles and a unit of special equipment, as well as 3 ammunition depots. Among other destroyed enemy equipment, there are 2 2S4 "Tulip" self-propelled mortars of 240 mm caliber, i.e., those systems with which the enemy is trying to destroy the fortifications of our defenders.
