@SCampbell I am a bargain hunter. Walmart is 97 cents a pound. Aldi's is 99. And our local super is 89 if you buy $25 in other groceries.
@TheOldGuy
We got a bunch of turkeys at the Walmarts to give to the food bank’s Tour de Turkey. They were 97¢/pound. Same as last year.
@qurlyjoe @TheOldGuy Male journalists, who have never shopped for food before, go into a butchers and ask for a free range turkey with a suitably libertarian outlook. Thus $90.
@lastoneout
What kind of libertarian outlook can a turkey have, free range or not? 🤣
@qurlyjoe @lastoneout
I figure he tried to buy a Republican
@qurlyjoe I bought a couple. I also bought one at the local super for 89 cents a pound. My feezer is full but they go fast. I thaw them out enough to butcher them. Make soup from the carcass.
@TheOldGuy Wow! Great prices
