I am a STEM teacher educator, directing an undergraduate program and teaching science teaching methods. I am a former high school science teacher and school administrator. I think about culturally responsive teaching, #NGSS and phenomena based instruction.

My work focuses on preparing socially just teachers integrating climate/environmental justice
I have been #ungrading for 2 years and have been part of a great community developing my practice. I have increasingly focused on interdisciplinary teaching.

I enjoy hiking around the hills and mountains of Southern California.
