KIPP & Oppressive Schooling: "We need to reassess the way we measure school quality, taking into account the way that schools treat their students. Charter networks that abuse the psyches of their BIPOC students should not be held up as 'high performing.'"

1) Curriculum design needs to take place with a team of dedicated improvement focused educators.
2) It takes a lot of time, planning, reflecting, testing, reflecting, and revising.
3) Curriculum is never perfect or quite 100% complete.
