I can only imagine the growing percentage of faculty who are non-tenure track has a significant role to play in turn-over.

@erinnacland @MatteoCarandini @academicchatter It's important and necessary that (at least some) universities fight back against the current publishing system. However, the question remains: What would be a fair alternative? #OpenAccess is a very good idea (as @PHDcomics once beautifully explained here: yewtu.be/watch?v=L5rVH1KGBCY) but it's also not without flaws.
