I just favourited a notice that someone favourited my toot. What happens now? What exactly did i do? Does some kind of fairy pop up and tell the person that liking that was liked? That would be swell.
@Pat I am unfamiliar with the concept of trying myself what someone else does. You may now send me a fairiy, but other than that i do not understand.

I think when you click fav on the notice, it just favorites your own original toot, which of course, doesn't get noticed-back to you because you already know that you fav'ed your own toot.

Yeah, the fav feature should probably be turned off in those notices.

@Pat That does sound reasonable. Of yourse you don't know yourself prefectly, as you are alive and changing. Sometimes, despite all odds, reality will catch up and you will know what you did.
I think the trick is to know others, not what they present, but what they are, to put it in perspective.
There will always be those that do things better, but always those that do things worse.
A shame we are caught in this maelstroem. I have my way of dealing with it, i hope you have yours.
