@seislologist Does a person that develops useless software after studying computer science count as "Other Scientist" or "General Pubic"? Do you ask about doing actual science or education here?
@seislologist From what i experienced, people are open to change pace easily, as long as communication is in good faith. I had some conversations that switch back and forth between very stupid jokes and sophisticated discussion. Can't speak for everyone, but it seems people are forgiving of some low effort toots if that is not all one does.

I may be overthinking it, but I’m just trying to get a handle on who is here to make sure I communicate appropriately for those reading.
