Question about TERF
So i heard about the term TERF and i am wondering what the "RF" part contributes.
Trans exclusion is bad, and no other, positive activity can justifiy this. Like if someone effecively ended factory farming of animals, they would not get to hurt the neighbors dog as a perk.
So what am i overlooking? Why would it matter if trans-exclusionary people are feminist or not?

@dyedgrey Ah, so it is supposed to make clear that there is a conflict of interest? Like the TERFs don't want equality or equity, but say "Only we count. Everybody else does not matter."?
Yes, i think this does make sense.
I would say Trans Exclusion is the injury, and that the source is activists for a cause that would be worthy had they not started attacking innocent people adds an extra insult.

This is just my understanding - many of the female TERFs are radical feminists in the sense that they profess to support women and girls with great fervor. They oppose the "dilution" of rights/protections for girls and women by the supposed erasure of "womanhood" by including trans women as women.
I'm sure there are more scholarly definitions, but like I said, this is my understanding of the radical feminist part. (I think of them more as wRong feminists.) ;)
