If i write a replacement to mastodon from scratch what language should i pick that woukd make it kost likely that you woukd contribute to the project?

@freemo Hmm, wouldn't the system architecture be more important than the language of a reference system?
Kinda feel a little awkward here, since i don't do anything frontend (read: in browser) well, but what about architecture, are you planning to re-implement what is there or build something new?
@admitsWrongIfProven Important to who? the language is important for drawing in contributors mostly and makes a huge difference in that regard. Beyond that the choice of language is largely influenced by the infrastructure you want to build and if there is good library and framework support int he language you want to do it in.
