My take on "bothsidism":

I see two major sides, leaders that want violence and civilians that become victims of that violence.

I said major sides, since the real world is more complex, some civilians actively protest against violent leaders, while others elect them. There is mandatory military service in many places, which further complicates things. So the "sides" are a generalization, and to be precise, one would have to look deeper.

I take the side of the victims, against the violent leaders. Any leader that accepts innocent civilian deaths as acceptable to win is on the wrong side.

So, if you think about accusing anyone of bothsidism, check if you identified the sides correctly, please.
