The first step in pushing back against the Big Lie ("equality") is to let people notice how badly the liberal, progressive, Leftist, egalitarian, pacifistic, enlightened, Utopian, etc. program is going.
@amerika Well, i would say they do notice they are not equal, it's the reactions targeting the wrong people that worry me.
@amerika Oh, if only anyone was conservative anymore. I find the word quite cynical, as it now means neocon, not "someone who wants to conserve what we have".
In my view, the conservative ideal is to retain the best of what humanity can achieve.

Leftist is slang for "people that quarrel until the fascists achieve total control" for me. I prefer punk for that reason, because "no future" and "fuck you all" appeal a lot more than non-substantial quarrel.
But, likening left with neocon is weird. After all, neocons are the embodyment of "profit over all", and as such deeply connected to the monarchic idea of who is in power taking all as they please - the right, after the fashion of the first parliaments with monarchists on the right.
Maybe left and right are not useful words here, after all. Too laden with historic associations.
People in control of other people is bad, people working together to ease their workload is good, do we have this common base?
Leftists are just egalitarians. Neocons are pseudo-conservatives who want worldwide democracy, a Leftist thing.
The Right likes hierarchy of the competent. This clashes with the Left on every front.

I just looked up what wikipedia says about neocon, and it is a LOT different from what i read last i was there. Damn, i am old if i can say that.
So, to explain what i meant, neocon was once regarded as people that want the markets to rule, no rules capitalism. Have the money to build a monopoly, fuck all that suffer from it. You get the drift. Sorry if i was unclear under modern definitions!
To adress right:
Our current most right wing party in germany (with any substantial votes) leaves their upload directories unsecured. One example, but rest assured: competence is not their goal.
So it may be that you have experienced differently, but here, it is not like that. The next right party is also known for incompetence... as are the self-professed leftists. I do not see any wish for competence in the political landscape.

Political parties are bureaucratic organizations. They probably leave unsecured organizations on par with commerce and volunteer orgs.
You may be thinking of neoliberals, because neocons like the mixed economy.
