It tells small children that everyone can be just what they want to be; that sex isn't binary; that neither genitals, anatomy nor clothing can't give you a clue about someone else's sex.

Well, if it tells small children, that should be acceptable... small children might not be the correct audience for a nuanced view of all details.
Does it at least say "be kind, don't hate others for confusing unclear stuff"? That would be what i would find valuable there.
