Where does it come from, did you create as much value as you donate? Is there any account on how that happened or is it set what you deem acceptable?

I might be a little devil on your neck, but i do think it must be clear what did the people donating do to have what they donate.

Most of the value is produced by man hoirs. You are encouraged to donate to the poor of course, but a lot of the focus is getting together and investing time in charitable works.

@admitsWrongIfProven more importantly to your point. While you may be able to criticize how they earned it, and right or wrong, the act of donating is ja good act of equal goodness regardless. Doing somethi g bad to get it is worth taking issue but doesnt diminish the giving.

Money earned needs to be earned fairly, everything else invalidates giving it away... if i steal and plunder, donations are not a thing i do well. They are an excuse that i do out of shame, but to repent i need to acknowledge what i did wrong.

Maybe not what you wanted to say? I'll roll with you not doing anything wrong, but donations as repentance is wrong, very wrong.

Any evil around the gaining of the money sits on its own. And while donating it wont negate that it also doesnt diminish the value of the donation

@freemo A human has no value that can be expressed in money. Even trying to is dehumanizing.

What anyone donates does not change who they are. It merely expresses how comfortable they are in their life. And that is sad, that humans even have to think about safty. We do have enough.

@freemo Exactly. Money is meaningless. A thing that can be exchanged for goods and services. Not a token of worth.
You can calculate all you want, loving people is not in this calculation. If that is what you took away from this, i will not need to worry about you.

@admitsWrongIfProven money is just an iou on time and effort. I can work to get money and give it to someone or just do the work direct for them. Its all liquid.

@freemo Well, you maybe. In the big picture, there have been inaccuracies. If you actually feel money is not something one should acquire, then i am not worried about what happens to you, because you will be immune. That is what i wanted to say.
