I have a gf. We live together, she is very good at both rational thought and emotion. I am good at rational thought - i think.
You do not need to explain why you are having a hard time with emotion. You merely state it, and anyone who is not an asshole will do their best to adapt. That is how we do it, and it works.
Plain and simple. You do your part and put effort into it, then that is good and enough.
I always thought that "autism" was a part where an exploitative society tried to externalize basic human needs. If someone does not try to work together... where do you stand on useless humans?
