When handing out an assignment on #GoogleClassroom where there should be a template that the students can edit, but they're working in groups (4 by 4) - how would you do it?

@teachpaperless Hi. I used to use #googleclassroom. If I remember right, I would either make a few copies of the doc, pre-divide the students into groups and then send a student the link to the appropriate doc.
Or I would make numbered copies of the doc for all to see, and then have students divide themselves into numbered groups (randomly), and tell them to click the corresponding numbered doc.
