Been interesting watching from the sidelines and seeing people happy with the Rust programming language, but also seeing people who have been treated like dirt by the community and foundation, so I guess the lesson is if you like a programming language, don't go to conferences and don't interact with its fans; stay in your rooms wearing your hacker hoodies and drinking mountain dew or any other beverages of choice, and write code that will end the world as we know it.
@Adorable_Sergal I wonder what percentage of devs actually go to programming conferences. I’ve never been to one and don’t have any desire to. Also don’t wear hoodies when coding or drink mt dew so maybe I’m just weird. I may write code to end the world one day tho one never knows.
