BUT, cancer is a very deadly disease that can be cured by radiation, and our country is currently being infected with the cancer of Fascism. So I'm putting my gun control activism on the back burner until we beat the Not-Cs.

Even if we could confidently say we've squashed the Nazis entirely, there's nothing to say they won't return or that authoritarians won't seize power.
The biggest solutions to this aren't gun control, they're mental health care, community engagement, and healthier gun culture.
@odonion_gethen @Lowie@universeodon.com It's a complicated situation, and the answers aren't always intuitive. We can nip the Nazi problem in the bud if we play it right, but I get the feeling we won't. Form bonds with neighbors, start a tenants union, make a community garden; all things that nullify the fascist advantages.
