I understand the sentiment behind people saying we "need" conservative media to "balance" against potential groupthink, but consider that the so-called "liberal media" has advocated in the past 7 years, through both op-eds and journalism the following:
-trans people are gross and weird
-that Ron DeSantis, he sure is a maverick, huh?
-these goddamn liberal college kids keep getting mad at racists, like a bunch of pussies
-we should impose martial law to get these ni-, I mean, thugs in BLM off the street
-man, these Nazis are pretty dapper!
-why do people not want to date Republicans? Just because they keep espousing racist, homophobic, and misogynistic ideas? That's fuckin weak, bro.
So, in all honesty, y'all can miss me with that "we need conservative opinions in the media" bullshit, because we have that ALREADY. Like, ALL THE TIME.

Did you call any advertisers to complain?
Did you write any letters to your congressperson?
Did you sign any petitions?
Did you cancel your cable and your subscription to the paper? Did you stop going to Twitter and Facebook?
Did you stop shopping at Amazon?
Did you stop going to Chick Fill A and Hobby Lobby?
Surely you must have done all of these, like I did, right?
Nobody is going to come to our rescue. We have to do this ourselves.
