The problem with keeping animals like ants is the world of pet keeping supplies just isn't made for you or your charges.
I need a heat pad... but for ants. So it should be small and not very hot either. I use heated cables with some success, but really they waste energy, I just need a little warmer... maybe something one would use to keep pipes from freezing? IDK.
Looks like I'm going to need to DIY this one

@futurebird If the reptile heat pad doesn't work out for you, they have a similar pad for keeping the roots of seedlings warm. It might be a little more gentle, I don't know.
