Yea, you didn't need my little story to know that gravity is really real, did you? Things that are really real don't need to keep reminding you that they are real. If there were many people who didn't believe in gravity, do you think that a huge bill-board saying "Gravity is real" would be a good way to get more people to believe in gravity? No, because gravity is real. Gravity is invisible and you can't smell it or taste it, but still it's easy to find evidence for it. If the only evidence that something exists is a bill-board or a little story, maybe that thing isn't really real.
