Adorably annoying job

We would like to announce Moderator nominations for June 2020!

We will be selecting a new moderator to join our team this month and we encourage all QOTO users to voice their nominations and votes.

The moderator team has collectively chosen to nominate @Sphinx for the position but as always the moderation process is an open one and any user can nominate themselves or another for the position.

We welcome users to visit the discourse forum and either lend their support to a nominated user, nominate your own, or offer criticism to an existing nomination. These are decisions that effect all of us so now is the time for your voice to be heard.

Made some food for the next days, so I don't have to cook.
Also I am eating some #vegan fish sticks from Aldi in Germany, they are somewhat expensive but taste delicious.

Hi:
I am new in the instance, I moved from another one just yesterday. I was informed about this discussion by one of the moderators. I have a couple of things to say, in case you would want to pay attention to someone so new. https://libranet.de/display/0b6b25a8-985e-cd63-8b61-cf1327210981

> Pixelfed will be a year old in a few days.

> I'm a high school dropout that has never taken any CS or computer classes.

> Web development is just a hobby of mine, I work in the auto industry.

> I'm so proud of this project, I never would have imagined that I could make something like this.

> Thank you for helping me realize credentialism isn't so important as you think. ❤️ 😛ixelfed:

Wow, really? Feels like two years at least. Pixelfed is a Fediverse mainstay! Oh, it's a year-old post, haha.

The message is just as valid now as a year ago. Go out and do something! Don't let the gatekeepers get you down.

And @dansup , thank you for continuing to light up the Fediverse!

This was the tutorial I was following to setup manual control of my #DIY laser cutter. Of course, plans were put on hold due to lack of resources, but I think this will be very useful for other #HardwareHacking projects
