@freemo Does latex math work on this instance? It sort of works when I test it by making a completely private post, but there's a message about math processing error? Do I need more boilerplate? All I have is :backslash: ( e = mc^2 } :backslash: ) where :backslash: is just the backslash character.
@ambihelical No, it's currently broken. @freemo still got to fix it. In the meantime I'd suggest to use images, plaintext, or markdown to display your equations.
Also, not all #markdown features seem to work, eg, code blocks do not work on the textboxes. This is OK, but if they did, this would stand out. I really like the idea of qoto.org.
Given the character count and the richness of connected apps, it'd be nice to give it a shot if a long form article can be posted here and then we get responses from the community. Kind of preprint posted directly on #mastodon
