@thor I would say most of the US thinks of dinner as the 3rd meal. The term supper is a little antiquated where I live now, but I know plenty of people from the South who still say Breakfast -> Dinner -> Supper. In both cases though anything outside those mealtimes is still the equivalent of a snack.
