@RTP It does sound like an Onion title but I'm thinking the law is probably on the side of companies, and I'm not sure that's a bad thing. The 1st amendment protects us from the government not from each other. I certainly wouldn't want to be forced to support a view with which I disagree. Reading more about it this just sounds like TX conservatives using public resources to poke liberals in the eye and get people riled up.
@b6hydra Yes. I'm not invested in it. I'm a bit against political parties as they stand today, lobbyist warts and all.
I believe in allying on individual per issue basis. Plenty of things I may disagree with. But fight for what I believe in kind of thing.
I see issues with places like YT allowing biased private special interest groups to "moderate" videos/issue strikes (as "trusted flaggers").
Concerned about censorship as it quiets legit criticism (sometimes).
Just my thoughts on it.
