Trump's social network (Truth Social) is now open source due to pressure from the maintainers of Mastodon.
I have now mirrored the code on Codeberg and GitHub to keep track of changes, ease public examination, and ensure a copy stays public.

@b847c1960@mastodon.online They did, it happens in other GTK programs too. I tried nautilus and simple-scan for example, both from GNOME, and same result.
@worldsendless It's strange to me that people associate 2fa solely with their phones. Google authenticator wormed it's way into our heads and it stuck I guess. There are lots of ways to do 2fa though. I use Bitwarden to store totps so I can use a phone, computer, or any browser with the extension.

@b847c1960@mastodon.online Thunar. Part of the problem is that I need to set Xft.dpi in .Xresources so other software looks right, but that doesn't mix well with GDK_SCALE.
@freemo Having worked in customer service, no that's not the point at all. Customer service being a cost center, no company will ever be appropriately staffed when that money could be used to bloat executive bonuses or inflate stock prices. The point of customer service, in my experience, is to be just barely good enough so that you don't lose too many customers while keeping the yellers, screamers, and complainers at a distance from management.

I was thinking hard about what point or takeaway i wanted to give everyone as we all celebrate Men's Day. I think on days like this its good to do two things: celebrate the good things, and also be more aware of ways in which men can be the target of sexism, regardless of how that might compare to the oppression of women which is a topic for the other days out of the year.
I think one of the most important examples of sexism against men is the way they are treated when seeking help as the victim of physical or sexual abuse. In the vast majority of cases they are either turned away or appalingly often accused of being the abuser themselves if you can beleive that. The problem is massively common as the graph below shows.
Im not sure what we should do about it but i am sure we shoukd be aware of it.
