how does anyone stand reading the #birdsite for more than a few seconds? full of triggered people regardless which side of whatever battle is fought today. it seems that the masses on other social media are living in their confirmation-bias-algorithm-truth-bubbles, and everything not according to it shall be eradicated. fucking insane and pretty scary considering how many people are on those platforms.

@bonifartius i just cross-post to bird site and only time i interact there is when a friend overthere messages or tags me... occasionally i get sucked into a thread there and when I do I **always** regret it.
Seems the bird site algorithm is to pair trolls with targets and little more.
@freemo thankfully the people i want to interact with have other means to reach me 
i have the bad habit of clicking on the trending stuff if i happen to visit there.. maybe i should just filter that part out with a ublock rule or something :)
