@bonifartius one of my friends in Germany has problems with hornets invading his living space because their nest is near his window. and he cannot open windows. I asked why he didn't get rid of the insects and he said the damn hornets are under some kind of 'protection' in EU and he cannot just spray it with insecticide - this may cause huge fines and serious problems. I think this is idiocy in laws.
