when they realise that this is the exception, not the rule, they get infuriated because they were lied to, so they switch sides completely.

it would cause far less trouble if you let kids on to the fact that yes, the chad mostly wins, and while this may not be fair, that’s what generally happens.

you can take up battle against the chad. maybe you’ll win, but it’s unlikely.

i think this would cause less bitterness. you didn’t light up the spirits of people who didn’t have a realistic chance of winning.

as for me?

i’m here to fight. not against chads in particular. just to fight to stay afloat, really.

@thor That's not true. It is as old as patriarchal societies for cis men to think they are entitled to sexual release by using weaker ppl (slaves, maids, children, whores to name a few). More cases of this may get known today (but not enough) which makes them more cautious, and it may be a more modern thing to be open about it outside of brotherhood's etc, but it is nothing new.

i more agree with thors observation. suicide rates for young men are roaring, because they can clearly see that the future laid out for them by media and society is something they'll never achieve. on the other hand, the spin in media is that women should receive benefits, in work and in private. "to be treated as queens" if you like, with their existence as "oppressed minority" as sole reason.

"incels" don't see any chance of realistically having a partner, and it's the medias fault of painting pictures about the genders which they can never fulfill. the problem is that almost every media is left wing now, public discourse is mainly left wing, etc.

if you look here on what the conservative/right wing/traditionalist people on fedi write on the women topic, you'll find that the majority is very pro womens rights. only that those rights aren't only measured in a monetary capitalist sense. the way i see it, "right wingers" (for lack of a better term) cherish women for their ability to create and nourish new life. which is something that the technocratic left somehow manages to reduce to something ugly by using terms like "sexual gratification", despite it being one of the few things which could still be considered magical. i'd even argue that they are really pissed about this, as they can't control it. nature reigns.

nobody in their right mind argues that women are "objects for sexual gratification", except the left which picks out the few bad apples from so-called cis men. the only thing achieved by these nonsensical lables like "cis" is that it widens the divide between people.

"Cherish women for their ability to create and nourish new life"? What if the can't (too old, I'll) or won't do that? Ppl should be cherished because they are ppl not because they can do something.

@thor stated that "leftists created incels", and that's wrong. The image of a "real man" was created by other men, and that is toxic for all men unable to conform. If more are driven to suicide (if that's true, since once upon a time they could simply enlist in a war and let themselves be shot) then maybe because they can't let their frustration and feelings of being inadequate out by violence?
BTW: Boys are victims of the education system, no leftists there.
