I am doing a disservice to myself every day I don't plunge into learning tmux.

@Pixificial
ctrl-b c = create new window
ctrl-b n = cycle to next window
ctrl-b d = detach
"tmux attach" to (re)attach to a session

@bonifartius Yeah I remember those from the manual, but I am still not familiar to the level that I am familiar with my window manager, so I can't use it yet.

@Pixificial i only use tmux for server stuff but it's very handy for that. the commands i listed are enough for 95% of the cases.

another handy one is ctrl-b [ (or ] idk right now, it's muscle memory) to enable scollback, which can be quit with "q"

@bonifartius They do make it usable but I believe daily driving tmux as your wm is in the 5%. I once started memorising all the resizing keybindings too, but forgot with time.
