When the Taliban does such insane shit, the world can't shut up about and puts sanctions on them.
The Saudis have been doing the same/similar shit for decades and ... well nothing.
Worse then nothing actually by f.e. portraying/hailing MBS as a reformer instead of punishing him for the war criminal and despot that he is.

Fully agreed.
A while back US secretary Blinken held a conference as the US was worried about press freedom, while his own administration proceeded with the biggest thread against press freedom by prosecuting Assange.
The only appropriate response to that is loudly, publicly and in his face laughing him out of the room for his utter hypocrisy.

@FreePietje i mean media in germany are openly discussing that someone could be jailed for a maximum of three years for "Z" and a picture of himself with a rifle on telegram or whatever.
