@p do you have any experience with hubfs? I tried to build it from `/n/sources` but I get an error on line 721; "not a member of struct/union: nopipe" for a member of an instance of Srv, fs. I read `man 2 Srv` and from what I can tell, yeah, there's no `nopipe` in the Srv struct which makes me wonder if I have to modify... something?... to bring my 9front just a smidge closer to 9ants? I don't know though, my brain is not working right, right now.
@p I did some more digging before my back decided to make its complaints known, and found that 9ants and 9gridchan basically died, mycroftiv kinda disappeared from the internet, and all the plan9ants sources available are about 5 years old. I think tomorrow I’m going to cherry-pick what I can from it, to see if I can’t get hubfs and grio going.
@7 Basically as soon as mycroftiv died, they unplugged his servers and killed his domains. I would like to try to recover his notes, but I think it's fair to say that his documentation was not organized.

@bonifartius @7 Well, in his case, it was rheumatoid arthritis; it makes you prone to pneumonia and he also smoked jazz cabbage. It was very sad, I was kinda fucked up for a minute, but unlike Uriel or boyd, not an entirely unexpected thing.

@bonifartius @7 That's actually how we became friends. I saw all that on the mailing list and I saw him freaking out on IRC and I thought "Oh, shit, this guy's gonna kill himself and I will feel like an asshole if I don't try to talk him down off it." It turns out he was just really passionate, we became friends almost immediately.
@bonifartius @7 A PDF, I don't think so. I may have posted links to his site, or PDFs about Plan 9, but I don't know that there are PDFs about ANTS.
