@bonifartius @ovigia > so, financial elites aren't trying exactly this?
No, they aren't. They're spread all across the liberal vs. conservative spectrum.
> is it fascist now to not want homogenization of cultures?
I didn't ever use the word fascism in my posts so far, did I?
I've said it's far right to act as if there's some powerful bogeyman trying to destroy traditional families and national identity, supposedly with such force that you would have to use violence in response.
And I've said it's neo nazism if you say that said bogeyman is da jooz.
I haven't said anything about fascism, though like I said I'd bet money that this woman gives zero shits about worker rights. Most likely she wouldn't have a problem with fascism so long as her tribe is running the system. That's just wild speculation though, unlike the other things I said about her.
> another thread here said she is a strong supporter of israel.
Ok. Maybe she's far right but not a neo nazi, I genuinely don't know. Literally all I know about this woman, who I learned about today, is that she gave the speech seen in the video above and that she's now the Italian president.
> one can draw a sword in self defense, "slava ukraini!" comes to mind.
Ukraine is literally being bombarded with explosives and invaded by soldiers. If you think this is similar to things like allowing gay marriage, supporting single moms, or strong human rights protections for immigrants and refugees, then seek help lol.
> the plan of technocratic centralized governments where everyone is the same - a good little consumer - where everything is for rent - not even sale - is fascist. it may be rainbow colored, but it's as close as it gets to the fascist union of state and industry as i can imagine.
This is true. Also, it has absolutely nothing to do with liberal values. Didn't Elon Musk admit that he's actually supporting the Republicans? He's one of the possible architects of the dystopian feature you're talking about. No idea who Bezos supports, I imagine he gives zero fucks so long as he can make money. Gates on the other hand is probably a Democrat. Like I said, the rich elite are all across the spectrum. Everyone likes to pretend that the elite are on the other side because bogeymen make for a good strategy to rally people, and everyone likes to think they're opposing an evil powerful force because it makes them feel righteous. We all grew up with Star Wars and LotR after all.
If you give a rage filled speech about how some financial elites want to destroy your traditional family structure and national identity and turn you into slaves, then the only thing missing to turn that into a perfect neo nazi speech is to insinuate that said financial elites are Jews.
She even says swords will be drawn. It honestly doesn't get any more obviously far right than that.
If she doesn't insinuate that it's the Jews, then it's not neo nazi, but still far right.
