you know, with polite diplomats and politicians i could even imagine siding with the ukraine. as it stands they have the most annoying and corrupt people imaginable. the new ambassador in germany is AGAIN saying that germany is "too slow" with delivering the gibsmedats.

the real evil shit though is that he says we shouldn't take in russians who fled the draft:

> "There are young men fleeing, who have no regrets, but still want to avoid military service and end up waving Russian flags and driving through German cities in motorcades," the ambassador told the newspaper. These are a "security risk" not only for Germany, but also "for all young Ukrainian women with their children, who in the end would have to sit opposite these men in refugee shelters".

(from german: tagesschau.de/newsticker/liveb )

this is so wrong on so many levels it's hard to take apart.

- we literally took in MILLIONS of young men from cultures much more foreign than russia. some of _those_ really are a "security risk", you can frequently read about it in the news when someone is stabbed again.

- russians seem to be viewed as subhuman by the reasoning of the ambassador. the line with the poor women and children insinuating that they all will be raped by russian beasts is a fucking classic! maybe putins "denazification" is right after all?

- i never have seen a russian motorcade - only one by turks after turkey won a football game. i never had a problem with anyone eastern european. hell i never have seen a russian flag waved anywhere. or ukrainian for that matter, that only started recently and is done by german statist npcs from what i saw.

i'd really take anything else than clown world now, thank you.

@bonifartius Have you taken the Voluntarist/Anarchist pill yet?

politics

@niclas of course, i think i have been for a long time because of free software ;) was more about how warped ethics are now.

while we are at it, any stuff you'd recommend to read?

@bonifartius "The Most Dangerous Superstition" is pretty good. I'll get through it soon enough (I am not much of a reader).

@niclas i from time to time read some writings of spooner which are on gutenberg. i also read a bit of stirner but haven't finished that yet.

unfortunately i don't have as much time to read as i like, i have too many unread books and other things i want to read. i'm often too tired in the evenings to read something not trivial :)
