nobody should have trusted footage in the first place! it always was a vehicle to bullshit others.

i'd say trust isn't binary but fuzzy logic. e.g. i can trust someone i don't know to a degree if i can randomly ask unrelated people and they say the same thing
@icedquinn @Awoo

@bonifartius disinformation agents (CIA, FSB, MI[56] ...) are well informed of those kinds of tricks though. they have agents spread in to virtual competitors ("Project Mockingbird") so it appears as though 5 news agencies are saying "blueberries cause cancer" when in reality it's just a talking point printed out by some psychologist in a dark room

@Hyolobrika @Awoo
@bonifartius @Awoo @Hyolobrika also somewhat used by corpos; a lot of food brands are owned by the same holding companies but have a thin veneer of being food brands competing with one another. really, it's kraft by 20 names.

@icedquinn @Awoo @Hyolobrika@berserker.town yeah, that's a problem one has to account for. still better than magic illegitimate governments deciding upon the single truth.

@icedquinn @Awoo @Hyolobrika@berserker.town i guess one can't have free and risk free at the same time. our unity of state and industry is risk free for most, you can't have freedom though.
