@truthaddict The problem with this infographic is that “peaceful” is one way to look at it. Another is “uncooperative”.

@dave so are willing to commit violence just cuz someone doesnt do what you want them to do?

@truthaddict No, but I expect that someone who “lives in a society” shouldn’t be trying to dodge the cost. Paying taxes, abiding by social norms, etc.

The state is the one that has the monopoly on violence. My concern is with malevolent state actors that abuse that monopoly to exploit (hurt) people.

@dave so in the same post you want people to finance the monopoly on violence yet go on to criticize the monopoly on violence? That cost you want people to give up under threat of violence by the state facilitates more state violence

@truthaddict Only if the state is corrupt. Bound by a constitution, to which it adheres, it isn’t.

@dave have you been in a coma the past three years? They are all corrupt and want us enslaved or dead. This is what you support?

@dave so you want others to commit violence for you in order to enslave people like me? Good to know

@truthaddict I don’t want to enslave anyone. There are predators, and protecting people from their predators, some of whom blend in, requires that you have a monopoly on violence, which greatly constrains the predators.

But the predators can infiltrate the state, hence why the state is also constrained. By the constitution.
