@mangeurdenuage because if you throw a banana in a backpack with a bunch of other stuff it tends to get squished. sometimes even bursts. leaves everything smelling like banana
@mangeurdenuage and a normal container has to be oversized because the thing is curved. and if you cut it into pieces so it fits more compactly then it goes bad within like 30 minutes. so this is the logical conclusion

@roboneko @mangeurdenuage banana containers are one of the rare instances of weird kitchen stuff where it's actually a good invention (if you often eat bananas on the go).
