I wonder if someone has designed a easy to construct CO2 fumigation chamber for vegetables and fruit for home use.

@bonifartius I was thinking of using a Sodastream since that already has the valve and the attachment point for the standard cartridges.
But I'd rather have a box with an outlet and an inlet than a bag.

@bonifartius alltough just cutting the neck off of a soda stream bottle and attaching a bag with a rubber band is probably easier and cheaper.
its not like i need a 100% co2 atmosphere anyways, 60 percent or so will probably do just fine

@special-boy i just flooded boxes with co2 when i prepared cut fruit in the evening to have it stay white. one tap of soda stream was enough. side effect was the apples and other fruit were sparkling :D
i think you don't need 100% do kill flies.
