@bonifartius @ddritter @tom_andraszek @Radical_EgoCom it was a false dichotomy as well as misrepresentation of the subject anyway. capitalism only requires a (mostly) free market and private ownership rights. people are still allowed to work together towards a common goal. co-ops are permitted. the government can levy taxes and redistribute wealth. it can even step in and outlaw various practices. none of that stuff runs counter to the concept of capitalism

somehow a common error of detractors seems to be to conflate ancapistan with capitalism
