I think the thing I dislike the most about the Fediverse (really microblogging in general, but my experience is mostly limited to the Fediverse) is the habit people have of replying to themselves over and over simply to publish long content. Reading longer content that is broken up into many posts is incredibly jarring and hard to follow for me. I wish people would either use higher character limits, or link out to their own blogs more often.
