Dear fucking why #Thunderbird?!

I don't
ever want to compose HTML email, why the everloving fuck do I need to disable this manually per account every single fucking time?

@tyil i never want to save things to pocket.. i don't know who decides these things, but they don't kbow their userbase

@bonifartius@qoto.org I 'member when I had a simple 2 line patch to completely remove all the cruft from #Firefox at compile time. Then they changed the way these configs are included, and nobody on their IRC channel was willing to help me find out where it had gone so I could remove it. The response was "well show us a patch with what you want or we won't help you", but I was there because I _couldn't_ make a patch for it anymore.

It's so tedious and pointless. And
#Mozilla keeps wondering why their marketshare is declining year after year (even though exec compensation rises astronomically...).

@tyil they had a good thing when the quantum engine was new but the ui still was old and old extensions worked. been downhill ever since.

only thing keeping me is that chromium based browsers are even shittier xD

@bonifartius@qoto.org That's basically how it works for me too. I will only accept a free and open source browser because I am not retarded, but the choices aren't great in that sphere anymore. Firefox has the addons I desire (ublock, umatrix, sponsorblock, to name a few), and a means to get the layout as desired (though every release they work hard to make this more difficult as well).

The Web has been fucked hard enough to make it practically impossible to build a new web browser that actually improves on the existing ones.
