seems that producing lactase as adult is a genetic mutation you can look for. also roots of teeth are supposedly good to protect dna a long time. maybe at least good enough to detect certain sequences.
the premise is bullshit though. just because there are vessels which have contained something something milk, doesn't mean that the people then drank it raw. that a mutation enabling you to consume an _additional_ food source is an advantage should be clear. no bowel problems required.
people always have these ideas like "they didn't make the connection of drinking milk and diarrhea!" which is obvious bullshit. if they had raging shits from drinking raw milk they wouldn't have done it. just like they might have found rather easily that sour milk is easier on the stomach.
the abstract of the study reads like the question was constructed around the findings, imho.

We don't talk about Body Dysmorphic Disorder so much but I do wonder how many people have gone through it without realising it. Like below is pretty common amongst people now.

@skells not really. germans fear dissent which makes things pretty boring. something like NA just wouldn't be possible, too edgy! i don't want to spend my time listening to reiterations of what already is mass consent. i also out of principle won't listen to people who made fun/rallied against unvaccinated. which rules out some stuff which has been ok in the past, like alternativlos.org and other podcasts from the orbit of the CCC. those people went full-woke the last years.
i mostly listen to apolitical tech podcasts and no agenda now, which are all english :P

I consider Iceland my most favorite place in the world. I wander through the streets of Reykjavik with the eyes of a child, i trek north for the aurora borealis to dance before me so I can talk to God. I am heartbroken most Icelandic folks decided on the jibjabjuice.

@Sophistifunk you can't eat them directly, but can cook and make a juice or syrup from them which is very tasty. taste is sweet-sour with a slight note of smoke, imo. it's a classic drink for the winter here, usually heated.
