@niclas have you seen the amount of mind bending these people apply?! i'd certainly call that skill :P

@iron_bug well, they do things, they are living in a closed bubble and the money spend is 100% money from the forced fees, so they effectively can do what they deem fit without caring for any feedback. they think they are thought leaders, they hand out "prizes" for things others of their bubble did.

they do work nobody would pay for as it has no value except as propaganda outlet. they had good scientific programmes in the past, but it's all about climate change or social justice now.

would be totally great to see german public broadcasting dismantled just to see those people seething. there is no way for them to find employment. they have no measurable skills except for "virtue signalling" :)

@freemo @MelodyCooper @stormy178@mastodon.stormy178.com Someone has to be this person so I'll proceed. Firearms are really cool and very dense in Physics and Engineering. With the War on X mentality, education has suffered.

The CETME's history and the development of the AR-15 are absolutely insane. Ian McCollum with Forgotten Weapons has really cool videos on the subjects.

It really says something when my interest in Electrochemistry was sparked by Uncle Fester. Fast forward to me using that information to protect structures from corrosion. It was 4 or 5 graduate level texts later but it still sparked that thirst for knowledge and eventual application.

Give kids every chance to stand in pure awe of something. One moment for me was seeing a real SR-71 in person. I couldn't touch it but still I got moved along by guards because I was paying too much attention. It was being serviced and I was able to see a little bit of the turbines. Not even porn has been that interesting. A crude example but it was that amazing. I can still visualize that section rather vividly approximately 24 years later.

@colinsmatt11 @realcaseyrollins

Depends how you define malicious i guess. Im sure he thinks he is doing the right thing, and im sure he conviently ignores the factthati his mind the right thing is always synonymous witb his self interests

@admitsWrongIfProven @Amikke i'm pretty OT here, but the poison of "someone else handles that" is really evil. people even have no compassion anymore, except for when someone else tells them. someone else usually is the state or one of it's fronts.

@admitsWrongIfProven @Amikke it's my duty to my fellow humans to be alert. alertness is not panic. trading in alertness for comfort is a bad deal. alertness isn't only limited to self defense situations. something burning? lost dog? old lady wants to cross the street? all of those require alertness.

@admitsWrongIfProven no harm done!

you can read en.m.wikisource.org/wiki/No_Tr or watch some videos of m.youtube.com/user/LarkenRose if you are interested where i got my ideas from ;)

in essence it's about universal nonviolence except for self defense.

@admitsWrongIfProven because private ownership never tried to fuck with me yet. they might just do it, but that still is to be seen.

additionally, corpocracy happens _because_ of a state enabling it by providing said thugs and keeping people from defending themselves.

@admitsWrongIfProven this isn't about american style any more than there are americans who are voluntaryist :)

to be beaten and robbed by the state and still thinking it's a good idea to have armed gangs with a monopoly on violence is a bit weird.

you wouldn't have had lüzerath in the first place as the state couldn't simply disown people for the "common good".
@thatguyoverthere @freemo

@admitsWrongIfProven why? if someone wants to kill others he'll just use a knife, hammer or a car like we have seen.
