Wait what? One of the most used #Rust libraries ships a BINARY that has been proven to NOT EVEN MATCH THE SOURCE? How can Rust people think this is acceptable?

And here I was thinking that you need to trust their binaries to bootstrap Rust at all was bad, but now it’s also you need to trust the binaries of random developers. Or that I thought it was bad that they tried to infect all modern software using their “Rewrite it in Rust” movement so that you can no longer run it on less common OSes / CPUs (because if you would mention that, they’d just tell you to go fuck yourself, essentially. librsvg, anyone? python-cryptography, anyone?).

I think we have reached the point: Rust needs to die. Not because the language is bad, but because of it’s community. It needs to be ripped out of everything and Rust code needs to be rewritten in something else with a less toxic community.

Marry and reproduce.

Guter und wichtiger Punkt von #Lindner bzgl. #Kinderarmut. Viel Geld hilft nicht automatisch viel. Vorhandenes #Geld sinnvoll einzusetzen, kann meist wesentlich effektiver sein. Aber der Diskussion verweigert sich #Paus ja.

Gestern haben wir einen französischen #Soldatenfriedhof.in #Saint-Quentin aufgesucht. Ca. 5000 Gräber. Und das ist nur einer von vielen.

Man sieht nur die #Gräber, die #Schmerzen, das sinnlose #Verrecken, das unvorstellbare #Leiden, das siehst Du erst auf den zweiten Blick.

Niemand erzähle mir, dass "Abnutzungsschlachten" wie auch immer gerechtfertigt sein könnten. Das ist ein absolut zynisches, menschenverachtendes Konzept.

#Krieg muss verhindert werden. Und wenn er schon vom Zaum gebrochen wird, muss er sofort beendet werden. Über #Schuld, #Wiedergutmachung etc. kann man sowieso nur verhandeln, wenn die Waffen schweigen.

Eine #Erkenntnis, die bei unserer #Bundesregierung bislang nicht angekommen ist. Nur faule Ausreden bis hin zur Friedensförderung durch immer mehr #Waffen und "die andere Seite will ja nicht verhandeln".

Und die internationale #Rüstungsindustrie macht #Riesenprofite. Na toll.
