ich benutz ja selbst ff, deswegen bin ich so enttäuscht von mozilla.
irgendwann zwischendrin gabs mal für ein paar monate die neue quantum rendering engine und drumrum die alte ui mit alten extensions. das war ein super browser.
dann wurden wegen sicherheit oder was weiß ich die alten extensions entfernt. tree style tabs ist immernoch subtil kaputt an manchen stellen, einfach weil manche sachen nicht gehen.
statt das geld für sinnvolles auszugeben haben sie pocket gekauft (und noch anderen blödsinn glaube ich mich zu erinnern).
ich will mir nicht extra nextcloud installieren müssen um selfhosted bookmarks zu syncen. der ganze sync scheiss ist eh komplett overengineered. die implementierung die es für die serverseite von mozilla gibt ist irgendein zusammengehackter krams im alphastadium.
das ist alles einfach echt ne traurige nummer was da über die jahre passiert ist. kommt davon wenn man die führung austauschen muss weil jemand falsche überzeugungen hat.

ich glaube ich hatte während meiner schulzeit genau einen lehrer der den erziehungsauftrag des staates (pervers genug!) nicht als aufforderung kinder zu brechen gesehen hat sondern vorbild und positive autorität war. da mussten keine strafen her und ihm tanzte trotzdem keiner auf der nase rum.

From time to time I get shown pictures of my family and loved ones taken w cellphones. It's like looking at a funhouse mirror. Huge, distorted heads; A caricature of the person I know. "What a nice picture, huh?" They ask me. I'm perplexed.
