Yes they cancelled our November 2 talk in Denver.
Yes the story beggars belief; details to come later. Thank you for your support and massive apologies for any inconvenience this has caused. We fought as hard as we could but we're no match for institutional cowardice.

>implying Debian bad

I'll just say it.

Fuck Debian, fuck systemd, fuck installing "-dev" and "-doc" as separate packages, fuck the slow-ass release cycle, fuck "super cow powers", fuck over-instrumentation to give a simple /etc/x.conf a goddamn *build* process, fuck NetworkManager, fuck /etc/network/interfaces.d, fuck "THIS FILE IS AUTOMATICALLY GENERATED. DO NOT EDIT.", fuck having to install ed every time, fuck having to *uninstall* nano, fuck the default .bash_logout having `clear` in it and fuck all of Debuntu's defaults, fuck apt again, fuck dpkg, fuck the project's stupid name being a portmanteau of "Debbie" and "Ian", they should have killed the project when they got divorced, fuck `apt-get autoremove`, fuck "Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-missing", fuck "Package is not available but is referred to by another package", fuck "No installation targets", fuck a distro that is so clunky it makes people think Arch is a good idea.

> If you are a family and are bound to school vacation dates [...]

Ausgerechnet die Linken-Fraktionschefin im Bundestag Mohamed Ali findet das albern.

Blue Glass Beads; from late Bronze Age (3300-1200 BC). Found in 1885 when a farmer ploughed up a cremation urn at Kongehøj in Denmark.

Recent analysis shows they were made in Mesopotamia, 3100 years ago. Evidence of long-distance trade connections.
