A point that I think is relevant to understanding the current era is that what's going on now isn't really politics, it's war.
The oligarchy is trying to do this "Great Reset" thing so undermining and destroying their own institutions is no big deal as long as they can maintain control.
So based on that, one can surmise that they aren't going to give up power willingly and they will throw any sense of "rule of law" under the bus.
The only way they are realistically likely to lose control is if they become divided, and one sub-group determines to stab the other one in the back.
This is however a pretty likely scenario as they are basically trying to re-cut the pie of global wealth and one man's loss is another man's gain.

At the same time, I must recall that the FBI has a history of leading hapless helpless, mentally weak people to go through motions of fantasy terrorism, for which they face real trial and real imprisonment. I wish I could be sure that the FBI has caught a real abuser rather than manufacturing one.

@m0urs der links-grüne-woker admin bezahlt aber ziemlich wahrscheinlich auch den server. wenn er da sozialismus nach nordkoreanischem vorbild leben will ist das seine sache.
das die deutschen server und admins leider alle was meinungsfreiheit angeht ein bisschen zurückgeblieben sind ist schade, aber auch kein weltuntergang.
ich halte das natürlich auch für augenwischerei und blödsinn.
der rest des fediverse funktioniert trotzdem ganz wunderbar. wenn irgendwelche spinner sich selbst rausfiltern wollen können sie das machen, wie bei anderen themen auch.
schlussendlich nimmt man hier im fediverse "gratis" einen dienst in anspruch. bei X zahlt man mit den eigenen daten und in zukunft für den account.
wenn man hier im fediverse einen ungefilterten zugang möchte, kann man immer auch jemanden damit beauftragen einen server zu hosten.
umsonst ist am ende nur der gevatter tod ;)

@m0urs @meinemeinung @DCR also ich kann mich ganz wunderbar mit ganz vielen leuten unterhalten! wenn irgendwer auf chaos social oder so in der filterblase hocken will, kann er das ja machen. mit den leuten hab ich eh nicht viel zu bereden. manches würd ich auch sofort blocken, medien von pawoo sind z.b. eine einladung für probleme..
natürlich kann ein admin schalten und walten wie er will, wo kämen wir denn hin wenn da auch nich reingeredet wird :) dann haste am ende böhmi der verlangt das du seine posts liest :troll:! es gibt halt kein recht auf "gelesen werden".
das wirkliche problem ist das du als deutscher nicht mit klarnamen im spannenden teil vom fediverse unterwegs sein kannst ohne sofort mit guild by association "nazi" potentiell dein leben ruiniert zu kriegen. diese cancel mobs wärn mal ne aufgabe für recht und gesetz, nicht wer wen blocken darf. aber der zug ist in europa bis auf viele ausnahmen abgefahren glaube ich. da wird recht nach mutmaßlicher gesinnung gesprochen.
jeder sein eigener server ist ja die idee von revolver wo pete von FSE dran arbeitet. it's ready when it's done! :P
@ambulocetus i think the cutoff is somewhere between 80 and 90%. mind that members of the top 10% currently try to coerce the bottom 90% into giving up their standard of living to fix the climate - with questionable effect because there aren't as big reductions possible in those regions. all while said top 10% just continue their lives and laugh about how dumb people are.
@meinemeinung @DCR naja, gibt genügend server die nicht oder wenig blocken im fediverse, z.b. qoto, freespeechextremist, ... die sind dann natürlich meistens im grossteil vom fediverse geblockt. oder man macht sich seinen eigenen server, damit hat man aber auch wieder eigene probleme :)
