Temple of the Buddha and Maitreya Temple in Tongren, Guizhou province, China.
Temples sit atop New Golden Summit or Red Cloud Golden Summit, a 100m tall column of rock on a ridge of Mount Fanjingshan, and are both connected by a bridge that crosses a narrow gorge. They were probably first built sometime during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD).

@amszmidt a while back i had a vegan starting a discussion about why i am not vegan. they repeated "think of the cows and calfs!" five times.
i laid down in various variants that with the traditional way we have cows converting grass to food.
putting the manure back on these meadows keeps the nitrogen as cycle and in check.
while also keeping important habitats for other species.
the alternative being we plow over meadows and drench everything in artificial fertilizers to even have the possibility to use the wide swaths of lean soils otherwise not usable for field crops.
or we try to import everything from across the globe. ruining the environment there, as you already wrote.
vegans not having a single clue about ecology is my #1 pet peeve.

Veganism is beyond silly -- one calls on ethical treatment for animals .. only from humans. But not call on ethical treatment from animals towards animals. If veganism was ethical, the foxes would stop eating chickens.
The ethical choice is to be aware of why one eats something .. where your food comes from -- to try and make a smaller imprint on this little water ball. That is something that has been lost, and perverted by corporations.
Eat local, eat seasonal, eat wild.
