A 1400 year old Ginkgo Biloba tree shows every November an autumn display, shedding his golden leaves, that attracts thousands of people from all over the country. The ancient tree grows behind a Buddhist Temple next to Gu Guanyin in the Zhongnan Mountain Region of China.
Species is believed to have appeared several hundred million years ago (fossilized remains have been found) and thought to be extinct, until a specimen was discovered by a German naturalist in late 1600s.

One of the 4000-year-old well-preserved wagons unearthed in the Lchashen village in the vicinity of Lake Sevan. Made of oak, they are the oldest known wagons in the world.
Now on display at the History Museum of Armenia.

@genmaicha honestly it's one and a half party by now. all the major parties do effectively the same politics, AfD larps as being the party saving germany when in reality they _of course_ are as crooked and corrupt as the other parties.

@Mondobizarrro @meso the age thing makes it difficult because you don't have the same ability to bounce back from losing your shirt, you're old and tired.
But I may be splitting hairs because this is not actually an intergenerational conflict it is between most of the country and a smaller number of people robbing everybody. Even boomers. There are boomers that are actually cruel to younger people though and I find that revolting.
