@freemo of course, i didn't want to imply there is no damage! what i wanted to say is that this is not an even playing field. you seem to act in good faith - i'm not sure about this on the other side. spreading these kind of accusations without at least linking to solid proof etc. seems the opposite of it. fighting it might be futile and just drains energy which can better be used for more productive things :)
@freemo reading this guys posts, he's clearly nuts - i'd say he is just lying. imho you give these people too much attention ;)

in any case i think things need to be called out as what they are, lies and diffamation campaigns. this bullshit in the name of equality and justice is getting out of hand.

This is the second instance I am on and was pulled from the list on joinmastodon in a short time . The second time after an external attack and an attempt to prove some fascism or Nazism and other intolerance. Something bad is happening because every instance that has freedom of speech in the rules is attacked.
And the second time it is done without any explanation or possibility of defense. And only on the basis of notifications.
@Hyolobrika i still can appreciate the chomsky hierarchy even if he wished that me and my family starve for not being vaccinated. information - which inventions essentially are - is almost always free from the spirit of its maker.
it's a bit like that free software licenses don't restrict what software is used for.

In meiner Jugend haben wir uns die Namen unserer Lieblingsbands auf die Turnschuhe geschrieben und Buttons an der Jeansjacke getragen. Dass heute der Impfstatus neben dem Profilnamen deklariert wird, finde ich sehr irritierend und befremdlich. In was für einer Zeit sind wir gelandet 😳.

I hear new people noting how chill, tolerant, and pleasant Mastodon is.
Mastodon isn’t chill or tolerant or pleasant. It’s a tool… a foundation on which to create and maintain a culture.
It’s those who’ve been on Mastodon, run servers, and served as admins who did the hard work and created the culture you now enjoy.
Now, it’s your turn. The only way it stays tolerant and chill is by us doing the work to keep it that way.
A good example of, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
