>there goes three days of compiling!
:aniwhat:
Dude even on hardware from 2006 it doesn't take days to compile Gentoo for server usage, it takes at best a day to compile with a minimal window manager like evilwm.

@cnx @tyil @koherecoWatchdog thanks, i will check that out! (not exactly much free time, but i'll do my best ;)

SWEET! My license to conceal carry a firearm has just been approved!!!!

@mangeurdenuage @augustus @Moon @sim all over europe. germany had many too, but the only thing discussed is "extreme right" terror. no mention anymore of the guy who plowed through a christmas fair with a truck (was likely an op by our own secret service). no mention of all the axe and knife murders. the list goes on and on, but the thing repeated in media ad nauseam is the NSU who killed migrants and did some bombings a decade ago (again with secret service being involved) and teens doing hitler salutes for shit n giggles. which is then used to do all kinds of psychopath laws. very tiresome.

Chapter 1:

It was the most tremendous, the biggest, the most incredible hallucination you could ever imagine. I, Donald J. Trump, a man of great wealth and even greater ambition, found myself careening down the highways of Las Vegas in a convertible Cadillac Eldorado, armed with a trunk full of cash, a briefcase full of the finest designer drugs, and a heart full of bravado.

The bright lights of Las Vegas beckoned to me, the self-proclaimed king of real estate and all things fabulous. I had come to this city of sin and excess to embark on a journey unlike any other. The American Dream, my dream, was about to collide head-on with the pulsating heart of this neon-lit oasis.

As I accelerated down the highway, the wind in my hair, I couldn't help but marvel at the spectacle before me. The sprawling desert landscape stretched out like a canvas, painted in vibrant hues of red, orange, and gold. It was a sight to behold, a testament to the indomitable spirit of the American people, and I reveled in the knowledge that I, Donald J. Trump, was about to conquer it all.

But this was not a journey for the faint of heart. No, this was a journey that required fearlessness, audacity, and a complete disregard for the conventional norms of society. And who better than I, the great disruptor, to lead the charge?

My loyal companion, a man by the name of Hunter S. Thompson, sat beside me, his eyes wild with anticipation. He was a writer, a so-called journalist, but I saw something more in him. He had an insatiable hunger for the truth, a thirst for adventure that matched my own. Together, we were about to unleash chaos upon the unsuspecting citizens of Las Vegas.

As we arrived at our destination, a towering hotel and casino that oozed opulence and excess, I couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement. The intoxicating scent of money and power filled the air, mingling with the smoke of a thousand cigarettes and the unmistakable aroma of desperation. This was a city that thrived on the hopes and dreams of the lost and the desperate, and I was about to become its ruler.

I stepped out of the car, the cameras flashing, the paparazzi clamoring for my attention. I was the star of the show, the embodiment of the American Dream, and I relished every second of it. I strutted through the grand entrance, a man on a mission, with Thompson trailing behind me like a faithful lapdog.

Inside the casino, the sounds of slot machines and laughter filled the air. The energy was palpable, electric, and I knew that I was at the epicenter of something truly extraordinary. I was here to experience it all—the highs, the lows, and everything in between.

And so, the adventure began. I delved into the underbelly of this city, a place where dreams were shattered and fortunes were won and lost with a roll of the dice. I danced with the devil himself, reveling in the excess, the decadence, and the unbridled freedom that only Las Vegas could offer.

In the coming days and nights, I would come face-to-face with the darkest corners of my own soul. I would confront my deepest fears and wrestle with the demons that lurked within me. But through it all, I would emerge victorious, a symbol of American greatness and resilience.

This, my friends, was the tale of my grand expedition—a journey that would forever be etched in the annals of history. It was a testament to the power of the American Dream, the audacity to dream big league.

The next time you feel imposter syndrome and are convinced that everyone is better than you, just remember that someone got paid for this hospital design.

@archaeohistories it's really amazing that 8000 years ago people managed to live there.

A 8000-year-old Human skeletons mounted on stakes were discovered ancient archaeological site (Mesolithic Period) in Dumpokjauratj,
Sweden.
